New: Flight Ops Stream (8 Apr)
Flight Ops Stream introduces a dedicated panel in the Flying page that helps you stay on top of incoming flight messages—without opening each thread.
Designed for flight followers managing multiple active aircraft, it provides a real-time, ordered view of check-ins and updates as they arrive. Each message shows how long ago it was received, making it easy to prioritize responses and maintain awareness across your fleet.
Messages from any unmuted Flight thread automatically appear in the stream. From here, you can quickly take action:
- Quick Reply using common responses
- Mark as Read to clear handled items
- Dismiss messages without opening the full conversation
By keeping messages visible and ordered by arrival, Flight Ops Stream supports a faster, more structured response workflow—especially during periods of frequent check-ins.
New: ETA for all flights (3 Jun)
Any flight that has the Destination location code added under "Flight Details" will now show the live ETA in the Flying page Aircraft List panel. The ETA becomes visible a few minutes after takeoff, and is shown in the destination time zone. If the aircraft heading deviates significantly from destination, or if the aircraft is within approach radius, the distance to destination is shown instead.

Now includes a time zone selector, allowing users to switch from displaying in their local to display UTC instead (25th May)
Flight Logs API
Updated to include takeoff/landing location names, codes and coordinates. These will soon be supported in the Ops & Safety Suite integration. (7th Apr)
SOS Workflow
Fixed the "View" button on the active SOS pop-up to link to Flight Explorer if the flight is no longer active. (1 Apr)
Flight Log Locations
The Locations Admin page now includes a map when editing locations (for reference and setting) (27th Mar)
A bulk Locations import feature has also been added. This is particularly helpful for importing Locations from Ops & Safety Suite when this integration is enabled. (26th May)
Public Aircraft sharing (beta)
Now allows specifying a start and end on the sharing window (25th May)
Fixed a bug that caused the aircraft list to show as constantly loading (17th June)
Messaging
Conversation threads are now loaded faster (multiple enhancements)
Added 'paired user' badge with connection status to Flight Ops conversation windows (waiting, paired, interrupted, last seen) (27th April)
Fixed Quick Messages to show in the order they exist in the Admin view (12th may)
Added new control for Org admin to set new Ops Messaging conversations to be muted by default (12th May)
Subscriptions, Usage and Billing
A new Plans & Entitlements page is now available to Admins to make it easier to see what plans are in use, how pool usage is tracking (and when it resets), and which modules (core and paid) are enabled and setup across the fleet. (5th may)
The Billing > Invoices page now supports payment status, manual retry of payments, and summary downloads of historic invoices. (5th May)
Other
Device registration is now more user friendly, with improved guidance and feedback through the process
Feedback link in User menu renamed to Feature requests and now links to the Vellox branded portal (30th Apr)
